Around 2002 we wrote a tribute song for the Buffalo Sabres titled "Hockey Party". We drove about 7 hours from CT back then and did not only a show for a Sabres event but also dropped by a morning radio show. The host were Shredd and Ragan. Fast forward to November 2023 we Zambonis are back in Buffalo for a show and happily back on the radio with Sir Shredd and Sir Ragan again. We are genuinely surprised that they have been supporting our band all these years and then suggest that we should re-record our old Sabres song but update the names to the current players on the ice. We ask them for a one million dollars to do so and they say an immediate no. Seeing we are an all hockey band with no judgment nor management, we immediately hit the studio and here ya go. "HOCKEY PARTY (Sabres Style)" Ps picking which players to put into the song was tough but thanks to Shredd, Ragan and our pal Joe Yerdon we went with Alex Tuck, Rasmus Dahlin, Tage Thompson and still kept the Razor Rob Ray in their too. Seeing we love food to much we included Beef On Weck and Buffalo Wings too.
